Mike Rosenbaum

Mike is a 2008 graduate of Grinnell College, where he studied history while captaining the baseball team during his junior and senior seasons.  At Grinnell he played all three outfield positions as well as third base and shortstop, and worked out of the Pioneers’ bullpen.  After graduation, Mike moved to St. Louis to continue playing baseball for the Alton Indians of the St. Louis Metro Collegiate League and has been living and working there since.  Currently, he is the Editor-in-Chief of The Golden Sombrero, a baseball blog whose staff writers are both friends and former teammates of his from Grinnell.

In addition to the Sombrero, Mike also does work for Prep Baseball Report Missouri, and has a separate blog on their main site.  He is also the assistant coach of the St. Louis Recruits 17/18U select team, gives lessons at Gameday Academy, and plays for the St. Louis Spartans 18+ men’s team.

He is a huge fan of the Chicago White Sox and a general baseball obsessive.  Follow him on Twitter and feel free to contact him with all questions, comments, and criticism.
