And what better player to show off his stinger during Game 3 of the NLCS than everyone\u2019s favorite role-player on the Brewers (no, surprisingly it\u2019s not <strong><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.baseball-reference.com\/players\/c\/counscr01.shtml?utm_source=direct&#038;utm_medium=linker&#038;utm_campaign=Linker\">Craig  Counsell<\/a><\/strong>), <strong><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.baseball-reference.com\/players\/k\/kotsama01.shtml?utm_source=direct&#038;utm_medium=linker&#038;utm_campaign=Linker\">Mark  Kotsay<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>With runners on first and second and one out in the top of the first, <strong><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.baseball-reference.com\/players\/f\/fieldpr01.shtml?utm_source=direct&#038;utm_medium=linker&#038;utm_campaign=Linker\">Prince  Fielder<\/a><\/strong> laced a slicing line-drive into the left-center gap that was hauled in by <strong><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.baseball-reference.com\/players\/j\/jayjo02.shtml?utm_source=direct&#038;utm_medium=linker&#038;utm_campaign=Linker\">Jon  Jay<\/a><\/strong>, who fired to second base to double-off the overly aggressive Kotsay.  Now, I know that these days Kotsay is far removed from everyday-player status, so it\u2019s probably been some time since he last busted out a headfirst slide.  Combine that with the steady rainfall throughout the game, and it\u2019s no surprise that Kotsay scorpion-ed on Wednesday night.  <\/p>\n<p>Since I\u2019m unfamiliar with the presence of Kangaroo Court during the postseason, I thought that it\u2019d only be appropriate to take the matter into my own hands.
