– \u00a0Congrats to Tim Wakefield<\/a><\/strong> on his 200th<\/sup> win<\/a>.\u00a0 Dude is 45 (2nd<\/sup> oldest pitcher to ever record 200 wins btw) and throws a flippin’ knuckleball.\u00a0 That tells you a lot about the guy.<\/p>\n

– \u00a0Was J.P. Howell<\/a><\/strong> actually crying in the dugout<\/a> after giving up that dinger to Matt Weiters? \u00a0I wonder what Jimmy Dugan<\/a> would have said to him.<\/p>\n

– \u00a0Does anybody else think that Charlie Furbush<\/a><\/strong> might have been a beaver trapper in some previous life?\u00a0 And was Doug Fister<\/a><\/strong> a former Gonzo style actor?\u00a0 Where does Seattle find these names?<\/p>\n

– \u00a0I am not sure which one of these home runs got out of the yard faster, but I would have been getting out of the way of both Ryan Braun<\/a><\/strong>\u2019s walk-off<\/a> and Josh Hamilton<\/a><\/strong>\u2019s laser. (Unless I had a glove of course\u2026but I am no longer 7-years-old and when I go to games my hands hold beer.)<\/p>\n

– \u00a0Speaking of homeruns, I am unsure of which homerun swing is more fun to watch\u2026that of a fat kid named Prince<\/a>, or the swing of a miniature named Dustin<\/a>?\u00a0 Either way, I love watching these two guys take hacks.<\/p>\n

– \u00a0I loved watching Gerardo Parra<\/a><\/strong> drop trou (short for trousers you morons) and squeeze out a Clevland Steamer all over a Hong-Chih Kuo<\/a><\/strong>\u2019s fastball after getting buzzed.\u00a0 And I appreciated not only his massive pimping of that homerun, but that he looked at Kuo and grabbed his nuts after the up and in pitch\u2026classic.<\/p>\n

– \u00a0Troy Patton<\/a><\/strong> got the 1st<\/sup> win of his big league career last night.\u00a0 Congrats buddy.\u00a0 I was fortunate enough to be teammates with Troy at the 2003 Tournament of Stars and watched him mow through hitters like a riding lawnmower.\u00a0 Congrats Troy, it\u2019s about time you got that W.<\/p>\n

– \u00a0Does Rick Ankiel<\/a><\/strong> ever look back on his past and think, \u201cWhy did I ever waste time trying to pitch?\u201d\u00a0 Probably not, but I think that after watching him throw out yet another runner last night.<\/p>\n
