Since entering the Minor Leagues in 2007, Moore has compiled a 615\/192 K\/BB ratio over 439 innings and really has nothing left to prove at Double-A.\u00a0 On Tuesday morning Moore was promoted to Triple-A, which leads me to believe that we will see him in the pros fairly soon.\u00a0 Since the Rays have been rumored to have most of their starters on the trading block, maybe they want to get Moore several starts at Triple-A before someone is dealt and he gets the call\u2026Just a thought.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>ESPN prospect guru Keith Law recently updated his <a href=\"http:\/\/insider.espn.go.com\/mlb\/story?id=6768361&amp;_slug_=mlb-keith-law-updated-2011-top-50-prospects&amp;action=upsell&amp;appRedirect=http%3a%2f%2finsider.espn.go.com%2fmlb%2fstory%3fid%3d6768361%26_slug_%3dmlb-keith-law-updated-2011-top-50-prospects\">Top 50 Prospects list<\/a>, and because guys like <strong><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.baseball-reference.com\/players\/a\/ackledu01.shtml?utm_source=direct&#038;utm_medium=linker&#038;utm_campaign=Linker\">Dustin  Ackley<\/a><\/strong>, <strong><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.baseball-reference.com\/players\/t\/troutmi01.shtml?utm_source=direct&#038;utm_medium=linker&#038;utm_campaign=Linker\">Mike  Trout<\/a><\/strong>, <strong><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.baseball-reference.com\/players\/h\/hosmeer01.shtml?utm_source=direct&#038;utm_medium=linker&#038;utm_campaign=Linker\">Eric  Hosmer<\/a><\/strong> and <strong><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.baseball-reference.com\/players\/m\/moustmi01.shtml?utm_source=direct&#038;utm_medium=linker&#038;utm_campaign=Linker\">Mike  Moustakas<\/a><\/strong> have all received promotions, it has a much different look.\u00a0 Kevin Goldstein over at Baseball Prospectus also <a href=\"http:\/\/www.baseballprospectus.com\/article.php?articleid=14534\">reorganized his Top 50 list<\/a>, which is a much bolder (and exciting) list if you ask me.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/insider.espn.go.com\/mlb\/story\/_\/id\/6777963\/mlb-mike-trout-struggling-los-angeles-angels\">Jonah Keri<\/a> argues that the Angels gave Mike Trout the call too soon.\u00a0 Currently hitting .125 (and granted that it\u2019s only through six games), Trout is yet to truly flash all his tools.\u00a0 And according to Keri, the news of <strong><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.baseball-reference.com\/players\/b\/bourjpe01.shtml?utm_source=direct&#038;utm_medium=linker&#038;utm_campaign=Linker\">Peter  Bourjos<\/a><\/strong> hitting the DL may only intensify the 19-year-old\u2019s early struggles.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>On July 11, Braves\u2019 outfielder <strong><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.baseball-reference.com\/minors\/player.cgi?utm_source=direct&#038;utm_medium=linker&#038;utm_campaign=Linker&#038;id=gartre001mau\">Stefan  Gartrell<\/a><\/strong> slugged 16 total home runs to <a href=\"http:\/\/web.minorleaguebaseball.com\/news\/article.jsp?ymd=20110712&amp;content_id=21750188&amp;fext=.jsp&amp;vkey=news_milb\">win the Triple-A Home Run Derby<\/a>.\u00a0 His opponent in the final round: 17-year-old high school junior Kayden Porter.\u00a0 Using an aluminum bat, the 6-foot-5, 250-pound first baseman dropped 14 bombs, one of which traveled an estimated 545 feet and cleared the batter\u2019s eye in center.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Also at Fangraphs, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fangraphs.com\/blogs\/index.php\/why-hasnt-cleveland-given-kipnis-a-call\/\">Matt Klassen explores<\/a> the potential reasons why the Indians are yet to call up <strong><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.baseball-reference.com\/minors\/player.cgi?utm_source=direct&#038;utm_medium=linker&#038;utm_campaign=Linker&#038;id=kipnis001jas\">Jason  Kipnis<\/a><\/strong>.\u00a0 Regarded by many as a more projectable prospect than teammate <strong><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.baseball-reference.com\/players\/c\/chiselo01.shtml?utm_source=direct&#038;utm_medium=linker&#038;utm_campaign=Linker\">Lonnie  Chisenhall<\/a><\/strong> and with Minor League numbers comparable to those of Dustin Ackley, Kipnis\u2019 arrival is imminent. Like Klassen, I say the sooner the better.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Playing for Triple-A last night, San Francisco Giants prospect <strong><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.baseball-reference.com\/players\/b\/beltbr01.shtml?utm_source=direct&#038;utm_medium=linker&#038;utm_campaign=Linker\">Brandon  Belt<\/a><\/strong> turned in an ugly and disconcerting performance: 0-for-4 with four strikeouts and a walk \u2013 a golden sombrero.
