A<\/a> with the second overall pick in the 2009 draft, Jameson Taillon.\u00a0 Ranked by MLB.com as the #18 prospect in baseball \u2013 and yet to appear on <a href=\"..\/the-golden-sombreros-top-50-prospects\">the Sombrero&#8217;s list<\/a> \u2013 the 6-foot-6, 225-pound right-hander provides a colorful interview in which he discusses his baseball upbringing, rise to prominence, and lifestyle.\u00a0 Taillon also mentions that <strong><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.baseball-reference.com\/minors\/player.cgi?utm_source=direct&#038;utm_medium=linker&#038;utm_campaign=Linker&#038;id=miller002she\">Shelby  Miller<\/a><\/strong> is a &#8220;really good&#8221; golfer.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Although Bruce Bochy has stated that 1B <strong><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.baseball-reference.com\/minors\/player.cgi?utm_source=direct&#038;utm_medium=linker&#038;utm_campaign=Linker&#038;id=belt--001bra\">Brandon  Belt<\/a><\/strong> has a shot to make the club out of Spring Training, <a href=\"http:\/\/crazycrabbers.com\/\">Crazy Crabbers<\/a> still believes that <a href=\"http:\/\/www.crazycrabbers.com\/2011\/02\/could-giants-decision-to-hold-brandon.html\">it is highly unlikely<\/a>.\u00a0 By delaying Belt&#8217;s arrival until late April or early May \u2013 provided that he&#8217;s still mashing \u2013 the Giants retain control of his contract through the 2018 season, as opposed to 2017 if he were to make the team out of Spring Training.\u00a0 Considering that the two rookies, <strong><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.baseball-reference.com\/players\/p\/poseybu01.shtml?utm_source=direct&#038;utm_medium=linker&#038;utm_campaign=Linker\">Buster  Posey<\/a><\/strong> and <strong><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.baseball-reference.com\/players\/b\/bumgama01.shtml?utm_source=direct&#038;utm_medium=linker&#038;utm_campaign=Linker\">Madison  Bumgarner<\/a><\/strong>, were arguably the main reason that the team made the playoffs and went on to win the World Series, perhaps this could be the year that Brain Sabean mixes things up.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><!--more--><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Florida International University has not made an announcement regarding the eligibility of Garrett Wittels, who enters the 2011 season with a 56-game hit streak and an assortment of legal trouble.\u00a0 According to the <a href=\"http:\/\/hallofverygood.com\/\">Hall of Very Good<\/a>, FIU has scheduled a press conference for next week where Wittels will field questions about his hit streak and nothing else.\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hallofverygood.com\/2011\/02\/garrett-wittels-to-talk-to-mediasorta.html\">Seriously, nothing else.<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>As part of their ongoing College Preview, Jim Shonerd of Baseball America wrote an interesting <a href=\"http:\/\/www.baseballamerica.com\/today\/college\/season-preview\/2011\/2611249.html\">article on Oklahoma&#8217;s Garrett Buechele<\/a>.\u00a0 You may best remember his father, Steve, for his 11 years of big league service with the Rangers, Cubs, and Pirates, and of course, for <a href=\"http:\/\/trsullivan.mlblogs.com\/Buechele.jpg\">his WWF-inspired mane<\/a>.\u00a0 In addition to profiling their respective careers, Shonerd also assembles a team consisting of the best Division I players with Major League genes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Based upon the comments made by Ozzie Guillen this week on a Chicago radio station, it looks like <strong><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.baseball-reference.com\/players\/s\/salech01.shtml?utm_source=direct&#038;utm_medium=linker&#038;utm_campaign=Linker\">Chris  Sale<\/a><\/strong> will <a href=\"http:\/\/www.chicagonow.com\/blogs\/white-sox-observer\/2011\/02\/alright-chris-sale-is-almost-certainly-going-to-be-in-the-bullpen.html\">remain in the White Sox bullpen<\/a>.\u00a0 Sale \u2013 <a href=\"..\/archives\/2955\">#18 on our prospect list<\/a> \u2013 will be one of several left-handed options for Ozzie this season;
