center;\">ETA: 2012<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Lawrie was swapped straight up for Toronto ace Shaun Marcum this winter.\u00a0 At the time he was the top prospect in Milwaukee\u2019s organization as a very toolsy middle infielder.\u00a0 Before a brief and unsuccessful call-up to Double-A, Lawrie posted a .285\/.346\/.451 line in the Southern League (A), which is nothing to sneeze at for a 20-year old.\u00a0 Concerns exist regarding his 47:118 K\/BB, but as a youngster, there is still hope.<\/p>\n<p>Lawrie was able to swipe 30 bags and has the feet to potentially receive a plus grading in the field as his hands develop, but he has a long way to go and that is likely a little generous.\u00a0 Nevertheless, he has a chance to be a plus hitter with plus power to all fields.\u00a0 In the Blue Jays organization, Lawrie\u2019s bat should help him ascend to the Majors quickly, possibly earning a September cup of coffee in 2012.\u00a0 His plate discipline gives me reason to believe his career will not be seamless and without bumps along the road, but he should ultimately become a regular 2B at the Big League level with a chance at a couple
